We asked one of our trainees, Hannah, a few questions about her experience during the course so far.
Where are you from and why did you choose the Czech Republic?
Hi! My name is Hannah, I came to the Czech republic from Colorado, USA. I chose the Czech Republic because it has a central location, is very safe, and has beautiful architecture that has amazing historical stories.
What do you think of Prague?
I have lived here for almost three weeks and have absolutely fallen in love with this city! I feel like I was supposed to be living in Prague my whole life!
How are you finding the course so far?
The TEFL course has been an amazing experience. I have done one week and I already think anyone who wants to be a teacher, not even specifically an English teacher, should take this course. It offers so many tips and skills on how to be successful. I have already made friendships that I know will last a lifetime. My instructors are encouraging and make the 9 hour learning days intriguing and lively. They will also be lifelong friends of mine, I already know!
What has surprised you so far (either course related or Prague related)?
I was surprised at how quickly Prague and TEFL started to feel like home.
What are your plans for after the course?
After I graduate, I plan to live in Prague with a few of my classmates and continue with my certificate to teach English, particularly primary school.
