Hello and welcome to the Prague Czech-In!
I’m Steijha, a recent TEFL Worldwide alum and a current Prague-liver/ English-teacher. Originally hailing from Portland Oregon, USA, I came to Prague on a whim after spending a year abroad in France. I felt that I hadn’t seen enough of Europe to leave it yet so I packed some warm winter clothes and my mischievous feline companion, Topaz, in a bag and hopped on a flight to the Czech Republic (ah, that makes it sound so easy). What I found was a city rich in jaw-dropping architecture, expansive dog-filled parks, and cool people from all around the world eager to share their experiences.
So what can you all expect from the Prague Czech-In? Well, lots of things! From Prague how-to’s to guides and travel stories, this blog section will keep you up to date on how to navigate life in Prague (and life as an English teacher) in real-time. In other words, we’ll learn the ropes together. But it’s not just my experiences that count; we’ll hear from fellow Praguers, expats, and TEFL-certified teachers about their thoughts, opinions, and thrilling adventures in and around the City of 100 Spires.
