Why did you choose Prague? What did you know about Prague before coming here?

Well I chose Prague for many reasons: I visited the first time in 2006 and I fell in love with the city, the downtown, the nightlife and how easily you can get around there and into other countries.

Why did you choose TEFL Worldwide when you were choosing a TEFL school?

The reason was because I really enjoyed the time in Prague when I came here for the first time and honestly the reputation of the school. I live very close to the US border so I could have taken the course in the USA or Canada but just the idea of the course in Prague was awesome.

What made you want to change your life and take a TEFL program in a foreign country?

I love to travel to different countries; I used to live in Toronto Canada, I took an English course there. and I also took a German course in Heidelberg Germany. I though the TEFL course in Prague would be so cool and also I like a challenge. I had been teaching English for more than 10 yrs and German for more than 5, so I though learning something different and getting new skills would be amazing for my career.

How was your first month in Prague? What was positive, what was challenging?

Awesome but with questions and doubts about the course, life, everything! But little by little you get used to it and any time you move to another place will always be challenging.

What do you like the most about life in Prague/the Czech Republic/Europe?

The transportation is so easy to get into the city, the lifestyle and I guess because Prague is an old city is something I really love.

What are you doing now?

I teach German in a private middle school in Monterrey Mexico but I have to speak with my students in English. I also teach English in the afternoon and every Saturday.
