Many times, it’s the non-native English speakers who receive a distinction on the course. They have the advantage of understanding English grammar better, as they have studied it more in-depth while learning English.
In addition to teaching English, many language schools are also happy to give non-native English speakers a job teaching their native language, or any other languages that they are fluent in. You can apply the TEFL methodology to any languages that you speak, making you even more marketable.
